I gave someone with hsv1 a kiss on the lips fourmonths ago. Beginning two weeks later and and all the while since then, I have had nerve twitching on my lips and mouth area. Could I have a late first presence of an outbreak to come, because I haven't had any open sores or blisters?

I went to get tested for chlamydia, came out positive for that and HSV1 and HSV2

I have been reading some of the responses and some mention that the CDC does not suggest blood test for herpes. I went to get tested for chlamydia because my boyfriend tested positive for it. My doctor ordered a Herpes blood test along with it. I have never experienced any breakouts. Never did the swab test. And now my doctors says i am positive for both HSV1 and HSV2. So my question is, Am I asymptomatic? Could my now, ex boyfriend have it? And how could I have not known I had this?? And why did my (urgent care) doctor order a blood test if i never complained about it and the CDC does not recommend it to be done?

I have tested Negative for HSV1 and positive for HSV2 . Does that mean that I can pass the virus only thru the genital areas or can I also transmit the virus orally to my partner?

I was diagnosed with herpes (via oral sex) in 1982. I had a breakout or two in 1986 and 1987, but nothing since that time. Is it really necessary for me to divulge this information to a future partner?

I'm in a new relationship, no sex as of yet, and was diagnosed less than a week ago with genital herpes. I am devastated, never had any idea, no outbreaks or symptoms, and am now afraid that I will infect a man that I feel will be the absolute love of my life. I can already feelmyself pulling away from him because of that fear. Any helpful suggestions?

If you get an outbreak a few days after intercourse is it possible that the person you had intercourse with had herpes?

I just recently got diagnosed with herpes and I’m not taking it to well. I had a flare up a few days after having unprotected intercourse with my partner. Although my test came positive and theirs came back negative. Is this possible ?

Syphilis or Herpes

Hello, I got tested and all came back negative except HSV. It appears Syphillis and herpes almost look identical. How do I know that the blood test didn’t pick up on syphilis and just herpes? When i take my medicine the hsv goes away so that makes me think it is just herpes.
