I have tested Negative for HSV1 and positive for HSV2 . Does that mean that I can pass the virus only thru the genital areas or can I also transmit the virus orally to my partner?

    It depends on where you get outbreaks and it you have a active one. If you are symptomatic, you will get into the habit of recognising your outbreaks.
