I'm in a new relationship, no sex as of yet, and was diagnosed less than a week ago with genital herpes. I am devastated, never had any idea, no outbreaks or symptoms, and am now afraid that I will infect a man that I feel will be the absolute love of my life. I can already feelmyself pulling away from him because of that fear. Any helpful suggestions?

  Dont you usually have your first out break within a couple weeks of getting it? No sex yet, but was there flesh on flesh? It is my understanding sex is not necessary to spread a skin virus?
