There is no cure yet, but they are working on a vaccine so others cant catch it! You just have to take Valtrex or Acyclovir, eat healthy, and keep your stress levels down is the biggest thing (also moisture/sweet and chaffing can cause outbreaks for females. I have had it for 6 years now, and I barely get outbreaks otherwise. It gets better
